The Artists
Mayu Miyashita graduated from the Faculty of Music at Toho Gakuen University and attended the Conservatoire de Musique International de Alpes in France. She has performed with the Nagoya Schloss Symphony Orchestra and Dvořák’s Cello Concerto. In 2018, he won the Salzburg Special Prize at the Mozart International Chamber Music Competition. He is a member of the Evodia Christian Orchestra. Since 2022 he has been studying with Maestro Marco Scano in Italy.
Sugiko Chinen, a graduate of the Academia Musicae Musashino in Tokyo, studied in Italy with S.Marengoni, F.Angeleri and M.Panciroli. She later studied with Alfredo Speranza and attended master classes held by Aldo Ciccolini. She has given numerous four-hand concerts in Italy, Japan, Spain, France and Austria. She has collaborated with the Mexican orchestra Camerata in Movimiento, the Harmonia quartet and other chamber ensembles. She has devoted particular attention to working with singers, deepening her training also with E. Furlotti, whose assistant she was in Okinawa. As an accompanist, she has given numerous concerts both in Italy and Japan.
